Twit This for Tweets

TwitThis is a tool/website that lets you easily send links to your Twitter account as tweets using your browser or link-buttons on your blog posts.
Browser Bookmarklet
You can add a bookmarklet to your browser toolbar and when you come across a web page that you want to share with your followers, you just need to click the TwitThis button on the toolbar. The TwitThis page will open and you will have several options for adding a comment to your tweet.
Your options for a comment are:
Blog Posts
If you have your own blog, you can add a TwitThis button to each of your posts to encourage readers of your blog to tweet your posts. For example, I've added a TwitThis button to the bottom of each of the posts on this blog and on my Baseball Fever blog.
You can also use this button to tweet your own posts by selecting "Just posted" from the TwitThis menu.

If you are new to Twitter, you may be wondering how to find people to follow and how to get followers. One of the best resources for this is just tweet it.
The first step in using "just tweet it" is to register with the site. Don't worry, registration is free.
Getting Twitter Followers
Once you have registered on "just tweet it," you can add your Twitter id to different groups that match your interests. Write a short description of yourself that matches the topic of each "just tweet it" group that you join to make it easier for others to follow you. For example, for the Mac User group, I emphasized my computer technology background and my Mac ebooks business, but for the Sports group, I mentioned my interest in baseball and my Baseball Fever blog. The more specific you are in your description, the more likely it is that others will find you on "just tweet it" and will want to follow you on Twitter.
Finding People to Follow on Twitter
An easy way to find people to follow from "just tweet it" is to subscribe to a group's RSS feed. Every time a new person registers with the "just tweet it" group, their name and description will appear as a new entry in the feed. You can then visit the "just tweet it" website and follow the link to a listed person's Twitter page to see if you want to follow them.
You can also browse through a group's listing on the "just tweet it" website to find interesting people to follow on Twitter. As you add people from "just tweet it" to the Twitter list of people you are following, you will also get new followers, as many of the people you select will return the follow.
