Professional Objective

I am seeking freelance writing work. My main areas of expertise are language education, Deaf education, early childhood and elementary education, and technology (Macintosh computers). I enjoy many forms of non-fiction writing and I am particularly interested in informative blogging and article writing.

Education

I have a doctorate in reading/language arts education from Arizona State University. My masters degree is from the University of Cincinnati in Deaf education and my bachelors degree is in early childhood education from the City University of New York. I am a life-long learner and I frequently take online courses in business topics, such as SEO, web design and social networking.

Published Writer

I am a published writer of journal articles, research reports, and books on educational issues. I have also written ten ebooks on Mac OS X software and many articles and tutorials on technology, with an emphasis on Mac computers. In addition to my own writing, I have worked as a writing instructor, sharing my knowledge with university students.

Experienced Editor

I have over 15 years of professional editing experience. I have edited articles for professional journals, including editing the work of internationally known colleagues. I also have extensive experience editing student essays, term papers, theses, and dissertations.
